Dick Elliott began his career as a Kansas real estate salesman in 1970 and currently holds a Kansas Real Estate Broker’s license. He is an Associate Broker with Classic Real Estate in Wichita, KS and a consultant for nationally active private organizations, as well as public and non-profit entities. He has extensive expertise in numerous facets of the real estate industry including research, site selection, development, construction, financing, management, marketing and the acquisition and disposition of assets.
He is a proud Vietnam Era veteran who graduated from Wichita State University in 1971 and was a member of the University of Nebraska Executive MBA Program. During an eight-year association with the Department of Housing and Development, he was a member of the Urban Intern Program, received two outstanding performance awards, and was a speaker at numerous HUD involved events and reached the level of Chief of Mortgage Credit.
Community activities have included eight years as an elected member of the City of Wichita District 2 Citizens Participation Organization Board, three years as President and member of the Wichita Coordinating Board. He was also prominent in Wichita youth soccer activities as coach, referee and administrator. As Regional Commissioner of AYSO, he acquired and developed youth soccer fields through a public/private partnership with the City of Wichita Park Board. An avid golfer and runner, he has completed numerous road races including two marathons.
Dick Elliott is very active with Wichita State University as an alumni, booster, board member and longtime season ticket holder. He and his wife Dena enjoy their two children, and two grandchildren.
